The race is on between road construction crews and old man winter. The cold winter season is approaching which means crews are fiercely working to complete their projects before Frosty the Snowman comes to life.

The Department of Transportation announced beginning Friday construction on County Road 75 in St. Cloud from 22nd Street South to just north of 33rd Street South will cause delays.

Lanes will be reduced to one lane while crews work on repaving the roadway. Drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, September 25.
