The St. Cloud City Council will be reviewing several liquor sale applications and certifying tax charges at their meeting Monday evening.

Among the events on the agenda, the council will review an on-sale 3.2 percent malt liquor and wine license application for JL Beers. The company is planning to open a restaurant in downtown St. Cloud by the end of year on St. Germain Street.

The council will also consider approval for a temporary on-sale liquor license for “St. Cloud Pride in the Park” which will take place at Lake George Saturday.

The third liquor license the council will review is from the Whitney Senior Center. The center is preparing for Oktoberfest by applying for a license for an event on Thursday, October 8.

Also on the agenda, the council is expected set a public hearing on the 2016  Budget and Tax Levy for Monday, December 7.

The meeting takes place at 6 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at City Hall.
