Archived: Four Poeple Arrested In St. Cloud After Two-Month Drug Investigation

Four people were arrested in August after officers found methamphetamine and possible stolen guns at a home in north St. Cloud.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force says investigators were watching for criminal activity at 604 22nd Avenue North throughout the past two months. Then, on August 21st investigators stopped a vehicle from the home and arrested two people and they found about 20 grams of meth. 31-year-old Derek Stirn and 28-year-old David Pappenfus of St. Cloud were taken to Stearns County Jail for 2nd degree possession.

The next day, a search warrant was carried out at the house and officers arrested a third person, 32-year-old Dottsie Fortune of St. Cloud. She was arrested for 5th degree possession after officers found two more grams of meth.

The Task Force continued their investigation and on August 31 another search warrant was conducted at 604 22nd Avenue. This time officers discovered two rifles believed to be stolen and arrested Stirn and Fortune for the second time. They also arrested 27-year-old Ryan Weber for obstructing legal process.

The investigation into the rifles is still ongoing. The Task Force was assisted by the St. Cloud Police Department SWAT team during the second search warrant.
