The executive director of Fine Art Programming at the College of St. Benedict and St. Johns University accepted a new position at the University of Florida Performing Arts Program.

Brian Jose served as the director of the art program since August 2008. He helped CSB and SJU to establish a better cross-campus collaboration and community involvement in the fine art series. Jose represented CSB and SJU on the national association of Performing Arts Presenters Board of Directors from 2012 to 2015.

He received Excellence Award for presenting the performing arts in January of 2014. He was also a cultural exchange visitor in Pakistan as part of the Center Stage delegation. Jose has helped the Fine Art Programs at CSB and SJU to gain national and international reputation.

Jose will start at his new job November and will remain at CSB/SJU through October 6.
