A 55-year-old man died in a two-car accident in Kandiyohi County Saturday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Marcus Hahn of Venice in California was driving his car south on County Road 7 at 11 p.m. when it was broadsided with an SUV driven by Diego Sanchez Velazquez of Kerkhoven travelling west on Highway 12.

Hahn died in the collision and had two passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries. Sanchez received non-life threatening injuries. Five passengers in the SUV, including three adults, a 6-year-old girl and infant boy also were injured.

The Willmar Police Department, Swift and Kandiyohi Sheriff’s offices assisted with the accident scene.
