A St. Cloud man with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested on the south side of St. Cloud Friday night.

St. Cloud Police Commander Jeff Oxton says officers arrested 22-year-old Darnell Albert Lewis at the 900 block of 8th Street South. Lewis has been a wanted man in Stearns County since August 13th because of fighting with a 17-year-old girl. Lewis allegedly threatened the teen and grabbed her by the throat. She suffered minor injuries but did not need medical attention.

Oxton adds Lewis was taken to Stearns County Jail where he is facing charges of felony domestic assault by strangulation, terroristic threats and domestic assault.
