Drivers in Sauk Rapids and Long Prairie should be aware of a road closure on Highway 71 starting Monday morning.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the road is reduced to single lane as crews seal the cracks along 10 miles of Highway 71. Drivers should drive slowly and follow the instruction given by flaggers in the work zone.

The construction of the road is expected to finish by Thursday at 4 p.m., weather permitting.
