Two men were robbed at knifepoint near the campus of St. Cloud State University.

Shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, St. Cloud Police were called to the 900 block of 8th Avenue South. Officers learned that a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were walking south on the 8th Avenue sidewalk when a man confronted them with a knife and ordered each of them to empty their pockets. The victims each gave the suspect their personal belongings. The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect was described as a 5’8- 5’10" tall black male with medium length hair wearing a light colored shirt and pants.

A K9 search of the area did not find a suspect. The St. Cloud Police Department Campus Area Police Services (CAPS) Unit is actively working this case.

Neither victim suffered from injuries. If anyone has information please contact the St. Cloud Police Department.
