St. Cloud is gearing up for the 4th of July. The St. Cloud Fireworks Committee has prepared a fireworks display and live music, and has entered into donation deals with local businesses in preparation for this weekend’s festivities.

The Fireworks Committee has announced three concerts at two parks in the area. The U.S. Army National Guard 34th Infantry Division Red Bull Band will perform with the St. Cloud Municipal Band at Hester Park. The Red Bull Band will also perform at Wilson Park Saturday, July 4.

The committee will celebrate with Central Minnesota’s largest Fourth of July fireworks display, which is funded by donations from individuals, local businesses and organizations.

The St. Cloud Fireworks entered into a donation match with Gold ‘n Plump- for every dollar raised GNP Company will donate one pound of chicken to Catholic Charities. Coborn’s is also matching up to $5,000 of donations made at participating Coborn’s stores until the holiday.
