Metro Bus will add an extra bus to Northstar Link Commuter service on June 20th.

Managing Director of Operations and Planning, Tom Cruikshank, says popularity of Twins baseball games demands an extra southbound bus to connect people from St. Cloud to Big Lake.

Chair of Northstar Corridor Development Authority, Leigh Lenzmeier, adds the new bus will give a comfortable 40-minute ride to people. He says the new service will improve boarding time and give riders enough time to pay for their train fares without delaying the train.

Two Northstar Link buses will leave the East St. Cloud Park and Ride Lot on Highway 10 at 9:20 a.m. This additional service is only running on June 20th.
