St. Cloud State University students received television broadcasting awards in Atlanta, Georgia last week.

SCSU’s UTVS Producer Elizabeth Burda and Director Patrick Crooks were awarded for their report of Huskies Hockey versus University of Nebraska Omaha in the collegiate student division.

Executive Producer of Husky Productions, Brian Stanley, says this is the fourth time Husky Productions was in the Outstanding Live Game Production category.

UTVS also received an Outstanding Live Studio and Remote Hosted Programming nomination for Husky Mag, a weekly show that highlights St. Cloud State and high school athletics.

The awards are sponsored by New York-based Sports Video Group and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
