The Alano Society of St. Cloud received a $9,500  grant from the Home Depot Foundation.

Alano Society Board President Steve John says the club received the funding for new carpeting. The Alano Society of St. Cloud was established in September of 1961. The society hosts weekly meetings and recovery groups for more than one thousand people from the St. Cloud area, many of whom are veterans.

A spokesman for Camp Ripley, Major John Donovan, says the grant will help the club create a clean and safe environment for the veteran community.
