While gearing up for its busiest season of the year McDonald’s is also honoring those who have served our country and who serve in the St. Cloud community.

On Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. McDonald’s "McStop" location  in St. Cloud near Interstate 94 will be serving free meals to veterans and local emergency personnel. Kids will have the chance to join in on the fun by touring emergency vehicles and receiving a free treat.

McDonald’s says the event is an initiative adopted from the company’s “Lovin” campaign that connects restaurants to the community on a local level.
