A St. Cloud man was arrested after allegedly assaulting another man with a knife Tuesday night.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers received an assault complaint from the 10th block of 20th Avenue South just before 8 p.m. Officers discovered 36-year-old Brian Thomas Braun had threatened to stab a 39-year-old man from St. Cloud.

Burke adds Braun swung at the victim, was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail. Braun is facing charges of 2nd degree assault, making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported.
