A 16-year-old girl died in a two-car accident in Sherburne County Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Sheriff Joel Brott says Jade Posterick of Foley was driving west on County Road 62 at the intersection of County Road 20 in Palmer Township. She crashed into a pickup truck heading north on County Road 20 driven by 35-year-old Nathan Bauerly of Sauk Rapids.

Posterick died at the scene and her two juvenile female passengers were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital. Bauerly was airlifted to the hospital where he is being treated for unknown injuries. The cause of crash is under investigation.
