A 58-year-old of Arlington died and another man injured in a single motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 59-year-old Mark Tupper was driving northbound on Highway 71 toward Yellowpine Drive. Tupper swerved at an intersection to avoid colliding with two vehicles waiting to turn left. He lost the control of the bike, flipped and was thrown off with his passenger.

Tupper was seriously injured and his passenger died at the scene.
