A house was destroyed in fire on the north side of Cold Spring Saturday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies received a report of a fire shortly after 1:30 p.m. north of Collegeville Township. When they arrived, the house was in flames but residents 76-year-old Dan Doering and 64-year-old Sharon Doering of Cold Spring were not injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
