An Eden Valley man was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a motorcycle accident in Luxemburg Township Saturday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies received a report of a car and motorcycle accident near Kramer Road and Meeker Stearns Street on the west side of Watkins. He says the investigation shows 50-year-old Cheryl Lea Vanort of Litchfield was driving on Kramer Road. While approaching Meeker Stearns Street, she pulled out in front of a motorcycle heading east bound driven by 42-year-old Joseph Edward Miller.

Miller was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Vanort was cited for failing to yield.
