An Oklahoma City man was arrested after a vehicle pursuit on county road two near Daily Hill road early Thursday morning.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies tried to stop 33-year-old Daniel Boyd Yahola for driving at a high speed of 70 mph.

Yahola refused to stop and deputies had to pursue the pickup and operate a precision immobilization maneuver to stop the driver. Yahola was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail with the assistance of Cold Spring Police Department.

No alcohol or drug is involved and it is not clear why the driver did not stop. Yahola is being charged with fleeing from police and speeding.
