Firefighters were called to a grass fire in Holding Township on Wednesday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies and Holdingford Fire Department were dispatched to a field on fire on County Road 151.  Firefighters put out fire and said two acres of grass burned. No injuries were reported in the fire.

59-year-old Eldred Jonas of Avon was making stack of corn stalks when he noticed the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be a spark from his equipment.
