Stearns County deputies were called to County Road 13 in Crow Lake Township just north of Belgrade just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning in connection to an accident near a residential area.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies learned that Eric Pholman was driving eastbound on County Road 13 when his car ran off the east side of the road. The sedan struck a driveway before rolling over multiple times. Pholman was able to get out of his car and walk to a nearby home to receive help.

Polman was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital and from there he was airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital where he is being treated for several injuries. Law enforcement is investigating the cause of the crash and if alcohol was a factor.
