A Bemidji woman was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital after a two-car crash on the north side of the city on Saturday afternoon.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers were called to 9th Avenue North and 13th Street North in connection with the accident. Burke says the investigation shows 18-year-old Samantha Marie Papp Richards drove through a red light and hit a vehicle heading west bound from the intersection.

Richards then deviated to the left side of the road and finally went off the road hitting a home. Richard was taken to the hospital and cited for passing a red light. No other injuries were reported.
