Archived: Two Sartell Men Arrested On Charges of Possessing Methamphetamine

Two Sartell men were arrested on charges of 1st degree possession after a search was conducted by the Violent Offender Task Force.

Authorities say the Task Force was called to the 400 block of 2nd and one half Street North in Sartell last Wednesday with a search warrant. Officers found a half pound of methamphetamine and about $27,000 in cash. 49-year-old Ronald Hansen and 50-year-old Larry Brouillet were arrested at the home. Officers also found that Brouillet had a small amount of methamphetamine in his pants’ pocket.

Brouillet was arrested, but released at the scene with pending charges of 5th degree possession of a controlled substance. Hansen was arrested and booked to the Stearns County Jail where he was released with pending charges of with 1st degree possession and 1st degree sale of methamphetamine.

The money found during the search is subject to forfeiture proceedings in Stearns County.
