Archived: Stearns County Property Tax Statements Available Via Email
Stearns County property tax statements will be available both in hard-copy and email form starting this month.
Auditor Treasurer Randy Schreifels says tax statements will be mailed out to property owners in the week of March 23rd. He adds those who signed up for an electronic version of statements will receive their documents this week.
Schreifels says electronic statements will make the process more convenient and save the county money on printing and mailing. He says the electronic version of statements is available quicker and residents would have the option of saving it.
To register for the electronic statement, residents should sign up on the Stearns County website. Those who are already registered will receive their Truth-In-Taxation notice both by email and mail. Schreifels says residents can also pay their taxes online and that the first half payment is due on May 15th.
