A Royalton woman was taken to the St Cloud Hospital after a two car accident at the intersection of East St. Germain Street and Highway 10 Monday evening.

 

St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Jeff Oxton says the accident occurred when 33-year-old Edith Hernandez of Royalton and Charles Turner of St. Cloud were both driving eastbound on East St. Germain Street towards Highway 10.

 

Hernandez was traveling in the left turn lane while Turner was in the inside lane. Before reaching the intersection Turner attempted to switch into the left turn lane colliding with Hernandez’s car.

 

Both drivers were treated for non-life threatening injuries and Hernandez was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.
