Archived: Shred The Love Snowboarding For Breast Cancer Event This Saturday
People around the community have the opportunity to snowboard for a great cause Saturday as a part of the Shred the Love event hosted by S4 Magazine, led by St. Cloud State University journalism major Jesse Wade.
Shred the Love is a fundraising event that aims to raise money for breast cancer research. The local event is a part a national campaign managed by Boarding for Breast Cancer a nonprofit, youth-focused breast cancer education and prevention foundation based in California.
In addition to snowboarding the fundraising event will also feature yoga, classroom trivia and a raffle.
The event is being held at Powder Ridge in Kimball, Minnesota just 20 miles south of the campus of St. Cloud State. Registration opens at 11 a.m. Saturday February 28th at Powder Ridge.
