Archived: SCSU Women’s Center To Host Panel On Issues Facing Latino/Latina Communities
The St. Cloud State Women’s Center is hosting a panel Wednesday to discuss the issues that Latino/Latina communities face in Central Minnesota.
The panel is a part of the weekly Women on Wednesday lecture series and is titled Latinas and Grassroots Organizing in Central Minnesota.
Panelists for the lecture include; Sara Salas Ramirez, a St. Cloud State graduate who has been involved in a number of student organizations including student government and University Ambassadors, Monica Segura-Schwartz who is a program manager for Catholic Charities of the St. Cloud Dioceses and Ana Maria Studer who has served over nine years at Anna Marie’s Alliance a local shelter serving battered women and their children.
The lecture begins at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Atwood Theatre on the campus of St. Cloud State.
