A man is recovering after injuries he sustained following an ATV crash early Saturday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies were called to Mud Lake across from a home located in the 20,000 block of Highway 22 in Munson Township just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies found 29-year-old Timothy Krueger of Cold Spring with head and facial injuries after he had fallen off of his ATV. Krueger was treated at the scene before being taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation. Sanner says alcohol is believed to be a factor.
