A robbery has been reported in an apartment on the 600 block of 6th Avenue South Wednesday night in St. Cloud.

 

Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at an apartment near the St. Cloud State University campus. Investigators learned from the victims that 3 to 4 suspects entered the apartment, showed firearms, and then took several pieces of property. Interviews also revealed the suspects demanded money and drugs they believed to be at the apartment.

 

Burke says there were seven victims in the apartment including a 21-year-old woman from Monticello, and four 18-year-old men, a 21-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman all from St. Cloud. One of the 18-year-old men received non-life threatening injuries from the incident.

 

The case is currently active and being investigated by the Campus Area Police Services Team, and Criminal Investigation Unit.
