A 37-year-old Litchfield man died in a head-on collision in Meeker County late Sunday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Fidencio Rojas of Litchfield was driving eastbound on an icy stretch of Highway 12 in Grove City, when his pickup truck crossed the center line colliding with a car driving westbound. 

Trooper’s say Rojas was ejected from his truck and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two passengers of the second car as well as Rojas’ three passengers all received non-life threatening injuries.
