A prominent St. Cloud State University leader is teaming up a number of university departments to help with efforts to end sexual assault.

 

The St. Cloud State President Earl H. Potter III, along with the Women’s Center and Office of Equity and Affirmative Action will be hosting a dessert social as a part of the effort to end campus sexual assault this Friday.

 

The event will have stations available to take the White House’s "It’s On Us" pledge to not be a bystander to the problem, but to be part of the solution. The "It’s On Us" campaign aims to keep women and men safe from sexual assault, by creating a cultural movement that changes the way we think about sexual assault. 

 

The event will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Voyageurs Room at the Atwood Memorial Center.
