Archived: 18-Year-Old St. Cloud Man Arrested On Second Degree Murder Charges After Fatally Shooting Sister

An 18-year-old St. Cloud man is being charged with second degree murder after fatally shooting his 16-year-old sister while camping in Mille Lacs County.

Mille Lacs County Sheriff Brent Lindgren says they were called to the Rum River State Forest, just northeast of Millaca late Friday night. Deputies arrested Luis Nahuel Rosa at the scene after witnesses identified him as the brother of victim, Hennah Nicole Rosa.

Lindgren says the shooting apparently stems from an argument inside their R.V. between Luis and Hennah.

Luis Rosa is currently being held in the Mille Lacs County Jail on second degree murder charges, without intent.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office in the ongoing investigation.
