County Road 4, also known as Veterans Drive,  in St. Wendel at the intersection of County Road 2 will be resurfaced beginning October 22nd.

The Stearns County Highway Department says the construction will cover 1,300 feet on either side of the intersection on County Road 4. The work includes grinding of the pavement for resurfacing the road.

Paving of the County Road 2 will start the next week. Local residents will have access to the road, but should be careful while driving through the working zone. All other residents are encouraged to use alternative routes.

The time frame of the construction is dependent on weather conditions.
