The St. Cloud Hospital will undergo a mock evacuation Tuesday afternoon.

Stearns County says 30 volunteers will act as patients and be transported from the St. Cloud Hospital by ambulances, helicopter, and a mass casualty bus.

Stearns County adds the public may notice an increased number of emergency response vehicles in the area, but should know that it is part of the exercise.

The mock disaster is in effect from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and hosted by Stearns County Emergency Management and the City of St. Cloud to help the hospital prepare for real evacuations.
