St. Cloud State University will be hosting its annual Day of Caring at Barden Park on Thursday.

The Civic Engagement program hosts the event as part of a partnership with the United Way of Central Minnesota. The event focuses on cleaning up the campus and its surrounding neighborhoods, as well as offering many other service opportunities throughout the afternoon and evening.

Friends, family, and other services groups from the community are encouraged to join in on the community effort. The event begins Thursday at 1:00 p.m.at Braden Park.
