Archived: Highway 10 Lane Closures Announced Near Big Lake Starting Wednesday

Drivers taking Highway 10 around Big Lake will be facing delays as the road will be reduced to a single lane throughout September.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says both directions of Highway 10 one mile east of 168th Street Northwest at the BNSF railroad bridge will be reduced to a single lane throughout the day starting Wednesday and lasting through late September.

Starting in mid-September both directions of Highway 10 at County Road 11, 165th Avenue Southeast, will be reduced to a single lane as well with this latest project lasting approximately two weeks.

MnDOT says the road closures will be needed to improve drainage infrastructure.

Drivers will be asked to slow down and prepare for slow moving traffic during the project.
