Riders are gearing up their bikes for the 3rd annual Harvest Time Caramel Apple Bike Ride Saturday.

Bikers will have the choice between two routes along the Lake Wobegon Trail. At Melrose riders can travel to Whispering Oaks Winery for wine sampling, or ride north at Freeport to Hemker Park and Zoo.

The casual ride starts at the Sauk Centre Lake Wobegon Trailhead at Sinclair Lewis Park at 8 a.m.

All funds raised are used by the Lake Wobegon Trails Association to improve the trails by planting trees and shrubs and hosting other trail activities.
