Archived: A St. Cloud Man Is Facing Multiple Charges Of Stalking And Interfering With Privacy
A St. Cloud man was arrested at noon Tuesday and is facing multiple charges including felony stalking.
St. Cloud police Sergeant Jason Burke says the arrest is in connection with a month long investigation into numerous incidents of exposing himself while window peeking.
A Campus Area Police officer started the investigation in the later hours of August 3rd after the CAPS unit took a prowler complaint in the 500 block of 6th Avenue South.
During the incident officers arrested 33-year-old Kevin James Petroske after he was caught with his phone video-taping a female inside of a residence without her knowing. The investigation continued after search warrants were completed on Petroske’s cell phone and his home in the 700 block of 8th Avenue South.
25 separate alleged incidents of stalking and interfering with privacy were confirmed by the investigating officer. Police say some of the incidents involved Petroske masturbating while videotaping his victims.
The 33-year-old is facing 25 counts each of felony stalking, gross misdemeanor stalking and gross misdemeanor interfering with privacy.
Burke adds that it does not appear that Petroske knew his victims or had contact with them before the video-taping incidents happened.
