Archived: Westbound Highway 10 In Sauk Rapids To Be Reduced To A Single Lane
Drivers on westbound Highway 10 near County Road 3 and Golden Spike Road in Sauk Rapids will be facing delays starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says this stretch of road will be reduced to a single lane as crews continue roadwork in the area. This lane reduction will allow crews to construct new acceleration and deceleration lanes and reconstruct the ramps on westbound Highway 10.
MnDOT says all lanes of Highway 10 will be open by Friday, September 5th, before they close again on Monday September 8th through the evening hours of Thursday, September 11th.
The Highway 10, County Road 3, Golden Spike Road project is part of a larger effort to improve the roadways in the area. When the project is complete, four new roundabouts and a walkway will be added to improve mobility and safety in the area.
