Unused medication can be disposed of properly with help from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and the Stearns/Benton Physicians Association.

Sheriff John Sanner says deputies will be collecting medications at the Rivers Edge Convention Center Senior Expo on Saturday, August 16, and at Summer Time by George Wednesday, August 20.

Sanner adds that permanent medication drop boxes are located at the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and the Melrose, Paynesville, Sartell and Waite Park Police Offices.
