The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, better known as the Blue Angels, have just announced their 2015 officers. And a Central Minnesota man was among them.

Marine Maj. Mark Hamilton of Becker was selected to fill one of the two C-130 demonstration pilot positions with the Blue Angels. The 36-year-old Hamilton is currently assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 at the Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, North Carolina. He is a 2000 graduate of Purdue University.

Hamilton joins Marine Capt. Katie Higgins of Annapolis, Maryland and Marine Capt. Dusty Cook of East Bernard Texas as C-130 demonstration pilots.
