Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 10 in Elk River should know that delays may happen during the day Wednesday as traffic is reduced to one lane.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews will be repairing pavement on Highway 10 eastbound between Upland Avenue and Proctor Avenue and part of the left turn lane from eastbound Highway 10 to Proctor Avenue.

The closures will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will reopen by 5 p.m.

MnDOT asks people to find alternate routes, and be prepared to slow down and stop if necessary as they approach the work zone.
