Two cars collided at the intersection of University Drive and 9th Avenue South in St. Cloud early Monday morning.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says Zachary John Harper, a 24 year old from St. Cloud, was making a left turn onto University Dr. S from 9th Ave. S when he crashed into another vehicle driven by a 18 year old female.

Harper faces charges of 3rd degree DUI for having an intoxication level almost three times the legal limit.

He is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail.

The teenage driver suffered neck pain and went to the hospital on her own for treatment.
