The St. Cloud area received a heaping amount rain this Father’s Day weekend as area river’s continue to rise.
SCSU Meteorologist Bob Weisman says St. Cloud picked up 2.74 inches of rain over the weekend including two inches on Saturday. This adds to June’s total amount of 4.26 inches which is .9 more than the average for the month and more than doubles the average June 1-15 rainfall of 2.03 inches.

While Weisman isn’t sure when the next torrential rainfall will happen, he does remind us that we will have a daily threat of storms through the end of the work week.
