Archived: Stearns History Museum To Participate In National Blue Star Museum Campaign
The Stearns History Museum will be partnering with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense to launch their participation with Blue Star Museums at the end of the month.
The museum will be one of about 2,000 museums across the country offering free admission to the nation’s active duty, National Guard, and reserve military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2014.
The Stearns History Museum will formally kick-off the program with a Military Appreciation Day on May 31. Veterans, active duty military and their families will be offered free admission to the museum’s exhibit galleries and research center. Saturday’s event will start at 10 a.m. and last until 5 p.m.
