A Sauk Rapids man is facing multiple charges including first degree DWI after he struck a parked car with his vehicle Saturday morning in the area of Riverside Drive NE and 6th Street NE and left the scene.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says 42-year-old James Michael Parkos of Sauk Rapids, was stopped by law enforcement at Broadway Avenue S and 13th Street S and arrested for DWI.

Parkos is currently being held for court at Benton County Jail and facing charges of first degree DWI, driving after cancelled IPS, and hit and run.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
