The Stearns County History Museum announces the start of the Blue Star Museums Program.

Collaborating with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense, the program allows military families an opportunity to enjoy the nation’s cultural heritage and learn more about their new communities after a military move.

The Stearns County Museum is one of more than 2,000 museums across America that will allow free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Military Appreciation Day will be held at the Stearns County Museum on Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The exhibit galleries, children’s play room and research center will be open.
