A St. Cloud man is facing burglary and domestic assault charges after forcing his way into his ex-girlfriends bedroom and allegedly assaulting her early Friday morning.

According to St. Cloud police, 22-year-old Jonathon Lucas Smith from St. Cloud used the woman’s bedroom window to get in her home on the 700 block of 6th Avenue South in St. Cloud.

Smith was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail just before 4:00 a.m. Friday for 1st degree burglary, domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

The 21-year-old St. Cloud woman didn’t need medical attention.
