Sauk Rapids has recently been hit with a string of burglaries.

Sauk Rapids Police Chief Perry Beise would like to announce that several burglaries have happened in the past two weeks where suspects have stolen valuable property.

Beise also says most of them have been in the neighborhood around the Good Shepard Nursing Home and Apartments.  

The majority of the homes the suspects have broken into were empty. 

The Sauk Rapids Police Department have not yet identified the suspects and are advising all residents to safeguard their homes and valuables when they are not around.
