Archived: MnDOT Warns Minnesotan’s About Illegal Objects Along State Highways
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reminding people that placing objects such as signs, cars, boats, or trailers for sale along state highway shoulders or ditches.
MnDOT says violations of the state law could mean a maximum fine of $1,000 or 90 days in jail for the misdemeanor violation.
MnDOT expects an increase in signs and advertising along state highways as the weather improves.
